STEPHENSON DESIGN COLLECTIVE is an award winning, Seattle based modern architecture and design studio focused on balance through the creation of space and light. Offering architectural and interior design services, we work in collaboration with the client to understand the context and scale of everything from the massing and placement of the home to daily moments that create honest and efficient spaces within the natural environment. Our goal is to create noble and sustainable places kept in balance within their context.
Stephenson Design Collective continues to work on residential projects of various scale and budget in Seattle, Bend, the San Juan Islands, and rural locations throughout the Pacific Northwest, California, and the southern United States.
Our office is kept small to maintain a focus on design, collaboration, and successful execution of the idea.

Ryan founded Stephenson Design Collective in 2013 in Seattle, WA and is a registered architect in Washington. He holds a professional bachelor of architecture from Auburn University where he completed his thesis at the Rural Studio in Alabama.
